Appalachian Trail Section Hike (Section 2)-The Next 53
Maybe you have read the book or seen the movie "A Walk in the Woods". Here is your chance to take a multiple-day hike on the AT! Join us as we take on another 50+ miles section of the AT, starting at Unicoi Gap, heading north.

About The Event
Ticket sales for this event have been placed on hold until we can gather more information regarding obtaining a permit. We are currently working with the USDA on this.
Starting at Unicoi Gap (mile 52.5), we will spend 5 days hiking north and ending at or Rock Gap (mile 105.7). We will be relocating our passenger van daily to follow the group, which will allow you to carry less gear, clothing, or food than you would traditionally have to carry on a section hike. Think of this as a supported section hike. Our van will be meeting us at various crossroads if you need to drop or add gear or feel like you are falling behind too far from the group.
Day 1-Depart the Midwest
Days 2-Begin Hiking at Unicoi Gap
Day 3, 4, 5-Hike north from Unicoi Gap
Day 6- End at Rock Gap
Day 7-Depart for the Midwest
Daily mileage will vary but anticipate hiking 10+ miles per day.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than 7 days from the date of the event. All other cancellations are subject to a 50% service fee. Refunds may be issued in the form of a check. Please allow 5-7 business days for processing, we will notify you when the refund has been issued. Additional information will be emailed to you after registering. If we are required to cancel the event due to COVID-19 you will receive a full refund.

Modified Hike
This ticket allows the guest to pick 2 or 3 days (overnight or partial hike only) of hiking with group. You will still be camping somewhere on or along the AT with one of the guides during the week. When you are not with the group you will camp somewhere along the AT with one of our guides.
