New Years Eve Day Hike

Event Details

Join us for a New Year's Eve day hike at Devil’s Lake State Park. We will meet at the park at 9 am at location TBD. From there we will hit the trails hiking some of Devils Lake most scenic trails. Routes will be based on the number of attendees, but hikers should plan on hiking 5+ miles and anticipate cold weather and snow. If there is a enough snow on the ground you may choose to snow shoe. Hikers may also choose their own route if they wish.

If you need snowshoes you can borrow snowshoes free from the Nature Center located on the North Shore of the park. (Sizes adult-kids). Please call ahead of time to verify operational hours. Although the nature center has a lot of snowshoes, they can still run out on busy weekends.

Light snacks, trail snacks, energy bars and bottled water will be provided. before departing the parking area. Also, everyone that registers will receive a True North Expeditions t-shirt!
