"Ragnar Trail Wisconsin is back and it’s still the best running party under the stars. Runners come together on Sept. 23-24, 2022, at Nine Mile Forest - nestled ten miles outside of Wisconsin’s outdoor mecca, Wausau. Nine Mile Forest is known for cross-country ski trails but when the snow melts, there are miles of epic single-track running trails waiting just for you.
Your team will set out to conquer a series of three challenging trails that meander under a canopy of oak, pine, and birch trees. And when the sun goes down, run the night away with headlamps and a billion stars lighting the way. Just because this is the Midwest, doesn't mean the route won't be technical as you hop over roots and rocks, so get ready for a challenge. Any level of runner can come to conquer these twisty turny trails as you find yourself in this journey of adventure, self-discovery, and sheer nature-loving goodness." -RAGNAR website
Course information containing legs and elevation can be found here.

What to expect on Race Day
The race will begin early Friday morning (time yet to be determined)
Runners on teams will take turns running their pre-determined legs of the race. When a runner returns from their leg the next runner may go. This continues until each runner has completed their 3 legs of the race! Speed will determine when our team completes the race but all teams will be running straight through the night. Expect to have down time between your legs of the run. You can hang out, cheer on teammates or rest in our provided tent! Expect to have at least one of your legs of the race be during the night. Ragnar's race guide has all this information and more! Please feel free to reach out with questions as well.Â
